Oh Koen, nice to change..
but don't you have some regrets not to go for XO?
(I have tried most of them in Gold line... these are bombers!)

Hi MM,

I like a lot the RDM reliability and the Pentex on the 2010 blades.
Sometimes you need to make descissions that are not always that easy.

Time will tell.

PS: I'll try the XO gold on the defiwind 2010.

Hi Koen,
can I combine my rdm Loft-masts with XO- sails?

For what I have heard and seen from the XO wavesails, they should be rather tolerant on accepting different masts.
So the loft RDM's you have should be no problem.

Hi,

It depends on what kind of XO sails you are talking about ? For race sails that are designed with SDM masts, it should give a not successful result. For wave sails, it could be interesting to try.

the mast specs for 2010 Loft masts are 64%-76%. Are the specs of XO-sails the same?

Yes specs are similar, XO sails in small sizes can be rigged with SDM too, depending on body weight and what exactly is your style of sailing
i would suggest an SDM for sailors under 80KG from 7.0 to 5.7, if conditions are getting pretty rough but again it is a matter of style

Thanks Patrice! If your sails are as great as your boards, I will look forward to a great combo ;) !

I have been riding exocet since 2001 and I have never had a single day of regret.
I like the people and love the boards!!
Great coöperation together.

Maybe good boards, but is the company really so good? I think not.
