Hi,
I have a Kona 11.5 which is great for light wind freeride and waves.
Which board would you recommend to fulfill the one board option for stronger winds, I am 93kg, surf, windsurf and SUP. I like bump and jump, wave riding, basic freestyle.
I was thinking something in the 90-110 litre range.
Thanks,
Kai

Hi, Kai
I think Cross 3 104 will be the best choice, I have a Cross 102 for similar conditions and is my board of choice.
For Wave Riding I change fins to a Maui fin Free wave 28 cm

Hi, Kai
If you sail with the 4.7 more often go with the 94
I also have a Cross 2 84 and it its great with 4.7 to 5.2, Cross 94 should go perfect with 5.8
it will depends on how much do you use the 6.5, this board planes really fast and are light so you can still sail with the 5.8 in light winds before the need to change to a 6.5
I weight 90kl and use 5.8 on my 102 until 15-16knots

If one likes harsh and uncontrollable outside of very specific wind/water conditions, maybe. Another attack of a Troll?
One of the most outstanding features of Exocet boards: huge wind ranges. Cross boards or the Exo-Waves and X3's would be my choice. 94-105 liters. Used my Exo-Wave 105 with a 4.7 in some pretty great, but holey side off gales with great success. And, prior to the Kona 11'5 with a 7.4 Phantom.

I would not recommend an Exocet board. Go for something else.

Hi Kai,
With this sails quiver, i would go for the Cross 94. Your 5.8 is the perfect size for this board and your min/max sails sizes fit very well with the sails range of the board.

François
